His big weakness is that if he wins the 1st ballot nomination Ted Cruz will take his voters and go home.

Do you have anything truthful and objective to spew to us about it, Like actual demographics with voters voting so far? Nope, all you got is stuff so ludicrous it says Hillary can win against a steaming pile. Reality check- this is Hillary we are talking about.

Bottom line: The electorate is no longer Conservative enough to accept a candidate like Cruz anymore. Sad but true.

I pretty much agree with that. It would have to be a really exceptional conservative candidate or the US would have to be in much worse shape than it is now for a true Conservative to win.

I think it's much more likely that Cruz would lose to Hilary than would Trump. From where I sit in liberal Marin County, my anecdotal "evidence" is that I've heard more than a few longtime Democrats say that they like what Trump is saying about closing the border, jobs, and looking at Muslim immigration. I've heard no support voiced for Cruz.

I'm a Cruz supporter, but I can admit, that's funny as crap. Good one.

I have been a Cruz supporter from the outset. I have never played fanboy or hurled invectives at those supporting others, but I do not like what I am seeing from Cruz or Kasich.

Above all, I am never Hillary.

Cruz and Kasich have now both crossed the line from competing to purposeful destruction directed at the conservative cause. Having been mathematically eliminated, the adult thing to do would be to bow out, not threaten to destroy any chance of beating Hillary which is exactly what a contested convention will do.

It seems now the only hope we have for a Republican victory in November is for Trump to win the nomination on the first ballot.

They wanted the fantasy. They will own the reality.

I have the feeling that when they find out how tough for Trump the general really is, some reality will set in

Watch them go from, “ Trump will make up the loss of the conservative base with democrats” to “ we all MUST vote Trump to win”

Cruz supporters are assisting the Cheap Labor Express in their quest to stop the citizens from keeping the rule of law and our country.

Granted, polls taken in April are not conclusive of what will happen in Nov. But they do show Trump is starting out with incredible weaknesses on top of the already baked in weaknesses for a GOP candidate running in 2016

Not nearly as weak as Reagan was against Carter this time in 1980. How did that turn out?

During a radio interview for a Philadelphia morning show, Cruz predicted with certainty that the Republican Party is “headed to a contested convention.” He suggests Trump supporters “might as well put a Hillary sticker on your car.”

In all sincerity, "FU Ted Cruz"!!!

Jeezy—First, Glenn Beck calls Trump supporters Nazis; now Cruz calls Trump supporters DemocRATS.

Human Relations 101, guys—You don’t win people over to your side by pi$$ing them off.

Both Cruz and Clinton are free traders who love neocon wars and invasions overseas. Even on immigration we know they are alike.

Hillary? I really, really, didn't know she has wanted to build a wall since 2012.

This place has been anti-Cruz smear central, but that is just one step too far.

-------

I don't buy the lie that Cruz wants to build the wall. He just attached himself to that issue because of Trump.

Cruz will do the establishment's bidding on open borders because he is also open free trade - they go hand in hand as policies.

the majority of voters outside of FR don’t care about Cruz’s conservative Constitutionalism.

First, I am not sure what exactly that means any more, but whatever, it is an awfully abstract concept. What does that translate to on the ground in a way that affects people?

Strong defense including a wall and protecting our borders? Having a thriving economy not hampered by regulation and bad deals made by government to benefit a few?

Those are views Trump articulates. Cruz?

Look at all the Cruzers wishing ill will on Trump in the general. They really do prefer Hillary to Trump. How principled and conservative of them.

But Trump has a 70% unfavorable with female voters and God only knows what dirt the Clinton Crime Mafia has on him.

59% of women voted for DJT in NY yesterday.

All the dirt on DJT is already out. Hillary! not so much. Trump is the best one to play smash mouth with H!.

Well that’s very encouraging since 2012 turned out so well for the Republicans.

Do you have something of substance to counter than “ I can’t hear you?”
I believe the polls. Not because polls are perfect. But when they all say the same thing, I take them more as an indication of what’s going on than your denials

And “ I know lots a people that vot’n Trump” isn’t scientific . Yeah, the polls were wrong in 2012. Not a day went by here that that was being said. Reality bites
