I do acknowledge that your description is apt regarding these voters. However, they have fallen for the big con.
The fact of the matter is that Bernie was elected to the Senate in 1991. That means he has been a part of the corrupt government for 25 years and has been the beneficiary of at least 4 of the corrupt elections.
We also know that Trump himself has outsourced our industries to Mexico and China. In addition, his daughter has done the same with her fashion line.
It is sad how many people are so easily fooled.
The use of it to take land from a private citizen to give it to a different private citizen is not. In fact, that is a complete destruction of any private property rights, which was one of the most pressing issues of the Framers.
That is a separate issue.
How? Trump says Eminent Domain is a beautiful thing and that we need it to build factories to create jobs. That is precisely the exact situation that we MUST not allow.

There is precedent, lots of it. I visited Oak Ridge Tennessee yesterday where thousands of acres were taken by eminent domain to be used for the facilities used to process uranium
What industries has Trump outsourced to Mexico and China ? Businesses he owned and operated here, then shut down to move to those countries ?

So there are no American companies Trump has purchased, shut down American manufacturing and offshored. That’s what I thought.
Should he not be held to the same standards as the companies he attacks? Ford didn’t shut anything down and move it to mexico either. Yet, Trump is using them as his prime example for high tariffs.
He should be held to the same standards that he claims to be endorsing.
