Has Cruz whined about the NY results in the same manner Trump has about CO?

Ted boasted in a tweet that “Donald, over 1.3mm people just voted in UT, ND, WI, CO & WY. You lost ALL FIVE in a row, by huge margins. #NoWhining https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/721694330805755904 …”

Wow, 1.3 Million votes in 5 contests? So, excluding Utah and Wisconsin, how many “votes” did voters in CO, WY and ND cast? What? Those were delegates selected at the state convention?

The delegates Cruz acquired in Colorado, Wyoming and North Dakota were obtained not by the results of an open primary election or caucus, but by the election of delegates by GOP party activists who favor Cruz at the party conventions of the three states in question.

Those delegates were not earned by winning the vote of the people, but by selection by party insiders and activists. That's not the same thing as an open and fair election.

Sure, you can claim that the state conventions were "open to all" but it's not the same thing as a normal election process and you know it.

Anyone not blinded to supporting Ted Cruz with the “by any means necessary” mindset can see the difference in how those delegates were obtained and we don’t like it. And you know it too, if you look at at how Cruz's poll numbers have cratered since those "delegate selections" took place and got discussed.

Cruz and his supporters can claim all they want that they’re “just following the rules” but they’ll soon find out that those delegates Cruz obtained at those three conventions where the people (voters) of those states didn’t get to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice will end up being the most costly delegates in election history.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere yet, but it's safe to assume those delegates were offered "something" to ensure their "loyalty" to Cruz.

I think it's also safe to say that Mr. Trump has awfully deep pockets so it's not out of the realm of possibility that at least "some" of those Cruz loyalists could be "persuaded" to change their mind on whom to support if the nomination process goes beyond the first ballot.

Just something to think about.

The caucuses stink like a barnyard.

That inside party baseball has really hurt the party image.
