You are a German Style Dinner
You are dark, daring and inquisitive. You pepper your language with exotic vocabulary like “Spätzle” and yearn for the olden days — the really olden days. Medieval times.

I never heard of a german dinner. I suppose I should be pleased my knowledge of tv dinners is not that extensive.

I dont think any TV dinner is my soulfood, but I have been conducting an experiment along the lines of this quiz, where I ask people what is their comfort food that makes them feel safe and reminds them of childhood.

People open up and tell me their lives and things that they themselves have not thought of in 40 years

LOL

Darnedest thing

You are a Turkey Dinner Tradition and family mean a great deal to you. You love Thanksgiving because it brings everyone together. Why have that warm experience just once a year? Cranberry sauce and gravy is for life, not late November.

TV Dinners

By ZZ Top

TV dinners there’s nothin’ else to eat
TV dinners they really can’t be beat
I like ‘em frozen but you understand
I throw ‘em in and wave ‘em and I’m a brand new man oh yeah!

TV dinners they’re goin’ to my head
TV dinners my skin is turnin’ red
Twenty year old turkey in a thirty year old tin
I can’t wait until tomorrow.... and thaw one out again oh yeah!

TV dinners I’m feelin’ kinda rough
TV dinners this one’s kinda tough
I like the enchiladas and the teriaki too
I even like the chicken if.... the sauce is not too blue.

And they’re mine, all mine, oh yeah
And they sure are fine.
Gotta have ‘em
Gimme somethin’ now.

Let's see, I dropped off a job application for a part time vacuum repair tech, something I can do from my background as an electrician.

I actually got the ingredients for making deviled eggs, a favorite of mine, and boiled the eggs and they're sitting in my fridge right now waiting for my turning them into a culinary delight tomorrow. (HEY, that's a milestone for me!)

Other than that, just enjoyed the weather from inside, (with the A/C on).

How about you?

You are a Beans and Franks Dinner
You are a kid at heart — or perhaps all over. You love superhero movies, sitcoms, sports, puppies and America. Who needs vegetables when you can have two desserts? Beans and apples kind of count.

Seriously???

Twenty year old turkey in a thirty year old tin
I can’t wait until tomorrow and thaw one out again

I even like the chicken if the sauce is not too blue

Ham and Lima beans not so much.

Oooooh, YUM! Deviled eggs! I’ll be right over!

Not an exciting day here. Just did some housework and took Buckwheat outside on the leash for a bit. Overcast and upper 70s today so it was comfortable for both of us.

NOBODY liked them with the exception of my Father.

As a result, I was fed Ham and lima beans every week of my childhood life LOL

They had to be better than them C rats but there was a reason GI’s called em Ham and MFers. LOL

I’m not much for TV dinners either!
Roast beef and mashed taters with gravy is my comfort food!

Hi Luv!

The quiz says I’m a Turkey dinner. OK, fine. But the really interesting question was “What TV character would you like to have dinner with?” When I saw the option of Sgt. Hanz Schultz from Hogan’s Heroes, I had to laugh. When I was very young, John Banner, who played Sgt. Schultz, was a house guest of neighbor friends of my parents, and we did go over there for dinner.

So yes, one question I already had scratched off the list.
