‘You Gotta Stop!’ Hannity Loses His Cool with Ted Cruz Over Delegates
Mediaite ^ | 4/19/16 | Josh Feldman

Sean Hannity got a little frustrated with Ted Cruz during a radio interview this afternoon over his campaign’s delegate game.

Cruz said he doesn’t think most people care about this stuff. Hannity shot back by invoking his millions of followers and saying plenty of people “find this whole process confusing.”

When Cruz dismissively said only Donald Trump‘s people are complaining, Hannity kind of blew up:

“Senator, why do you do this? Every single time––no, you gotta stop! Every time I have you on the air and I ask you a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face, I’m getting sick of it!”

Cruz testily asked, “Sean, can I answer your last question without being interrupted?”

He explained how the system works and how the “noise and complaining and whining” is only coming from Team Trump. Hannity shot back that people have serious issues and “it’s a simple question, it’s not a Trump question.”

(video at link)

At one point, Hannity said, “Senator, I don’t know why you’re mad.” Cruz said he’s not mad, he’s just irked that he’s asking “only about the nonsense” and not about policy.

Hannity insisted he has asked the senator about policy plenty of times and simply wants to address

Can’t stand that sack of smarm, personally. Since long before this election cycle.

Like your tag line BTW.

I could tell the Cruzer was upset - he only stammered about half a dozen times.

Usually he sounds like Muh...Muh...Muh...Mel Tillis.

Amazing, another one roundly criticized here on FR is now accepted as relevant because........Cruz! I wonder how many others will be remonstrated and then held up as good and relevant before the election is through?

Cruz just wants an open mic to dump on Trump. It’s not journalism for Hannity just to sit there and let him get away with that unchallenged. Cruz needs to buy air time if he wants to run those type of campaign ads.

What exactly would Hannity like the candidate to do about the delegate system? Cruz is doing his best to win a contest by following its rules. Trump wants to change the rules during/after the game to enhance his chances at winning. Neither have the authority to change the rules. Why doesn’t Hannity go after the RNC leadership about this, and the state party systems, since they are responsible for it?

You can't beat Hillary

Florida less than 20% of the Vote

Won no Counties

Came in Third out of 4 people.

Virginia the same

Ohio the same

Name the President who lost those States?

Any bottom of the barrel spewer will do.....as long as they spew the correct message. I've seen more lefty garbage approved on here lately than on liberal sites.

Ted Cruz has spent his career sucking at the test of government employment.

Cruz is delusional if he thinks only trump people are upset about this

The point is that these SHOULDN’T be the rules. And millions of people are FINALLY realizing that.

Very good.

Now how in the world is that Ted Cruz' fault? He is just playing by the rules.

You, know, like Trump did with Kelo and eminent domain (well, sorta, Trump tried to hire the woman's attorney while the case was in progress, and that was a foul, imho). Few here would argue in favor of Kelo, but many seem to think what Trump did was okay (except the part about trying to hire her attorney).

“That’s so much better than winning in the arena of ideas.”

Speaking of ideas, here’s a list of Trump ideas our esteemed FR owner compiled a couple of days ago from various Trump speeches and interviews:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100’s of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

And here’s a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

What nastiness?? Trying to explain the delegate process? Requesting that Sean deal with substance rather than whining by the Trump camp because they got out organized and were clueless?

Suit yourself, as is your right.

I suggest finding someone to support who will put America, and American people first... for a change.

Who's running Libertarian this time? :)

This interview makes me despise Cruz. What a typical politician. What an Establishment tool. What a phony. I’ve never felt this atipathetic toward Cruz - but I do now.

Cruz had a list first. Starting in 2011. And before. Donald was busy changing parties 5 times.
