All of the more conservative up-state small towns and areas far from NYC did not give Cruz any 2nd place finishes.

89 is it? Pretty much as well as he could have hoped. 3 for Gay’s itch. The other 2, in question? Every vote counts.
There were two counties where Cruz took second.
Wyoming County (close to Buffalo), where he beat Kasich by 9 votes.
Kings County (Brooklyn), where he finished with 20% of the vote thanks to the Jewish vote.
The two are separated by just a handful of votes in Bronx County.
Kasich won New York County (Manhattan).
Trump won everything else.
Tentatively 90 pending the outcomes in CD 12 and 13. Kasich is up by 70 votes in CD 12. Trump is ahead of the 50%+1 pace by about 11 votes in CD 13. Absentees are counted last in NY, I believe.
Trump gets 90, assuming CD-13 (SW Bronx/Manhattan) falls his way. The other five delegates go to Kasich as of now. 1 delegate from CD-10 (Manhattan/Brooklyn) 2 delegates from CD-12 (Manhattan/Queens/Brooklyn) 1 delegate from CD-20 (Albany) 1 delegate from CD-24 (Syracuse)

Well, it was a great night for Trump! Looks like he’ll take 90 delegates to Kasich’s 5. That makes me happy and may this momentum roll! Good night!
This was the night that the GOPe has been dreading all winter and spring. And Trump exceeded expectations. Definitely a great night for Trump.

I expected Cruz would get nada tonight but Gay’s itch had some designs on doing a little better than that. I’m for Cruz so anything not for Trump should make me happy but I can’t be upset at Kasich doing poorly, the useless creep. The NY times is begging him to ignore all calls to drop out.
It’s a Trump landslide, and also confirms the obvious that Cruz could never win a general election.
