An armed takeover of an Oregon national wildlife refuge is part of a disturbing “extreme movement” to seize public lands and reject the rule of law — putting communities and public employees at risk throughout the West, Interior Secretary Sally Jewell says in a speech outlining Obama administration conservation policies.

Fancy that, a member of the Obama cabinet getting really concerned about The Rule of Law.

I’ll remember that one.

“Citing a new analysis by a nonprofit conservation group, Jewell said natural areas in the West are disappearing at the rate of a football field every two-and-a-half minutes. The trend is especially alarming “because healthy, intact ecosystems are fundamental to the health of our nation,” she said.”

What absolute BS!

But the take over of city parks and squares by the Occupy crowd all over the country is just peachy. And it was only the Occupy crowd which engaged in serious violence.

funny she says “extreme movement to seize public lands and reject the rule of law”. Certainly she must be speaking of the federal government.

Let’s see,,nothing to fear about the government of the United States any more.
However, be very wary of a half dozen ARMED Americans standing their ground.
Does that mean Admiral Yamamoto was correct in his analysis over taking on America?

The biggest threat to the west is the FedMob.
I put them higher on the list than illegal aliens.

The Feds are illegally closing down long-established National Forest and BLM roads and rights of way in defiance of the Federal Land Policy Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA) and grandfathered portions of Revised Statute (RS) 2477.

RS 2477 was devised by the United States Congress in 1866 to govern roads, routes and rights-of-way in western states. RS 2477 placed all decisions regarding roads on public lands within the jurisdictions of counties and states. Although the Federal Land Policy Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA), repealed RS 2477, the language within the new act served to “grandfather” in RS 2477. It currently reads:

Section 509 FLPMA (a) nothing in this title shall have the effect of terminating any right of way or right to use heretofore issued, granted, or permitted. However, with the consent of the holder thereof, the Secretary concerned may cancel such a right of way.”

In other words, the biggest violator of federal laws is the Federal Government under Obama.

In other words, the biggest violator of federal laws is the Federal Government under Obama.

And there are only two remedies: 1. Sue the Feds (good luck with that), or 2. Take it by force.

The fact that the vast majority of us are sitting here with our thumbs in our noses tells you exactly why and how this has happened.

“This country’s national parks, forests, refuges and public lands are some of the most valuable assets that we collectively own,” she said. “At a time when they face threats from land grabs to climate change, we can’t afford to turn our backs on them. Let us use this special year of the (Park Service) centennial to set a new path for conservation in the 21st century.”

???

What "land grabs" is she talking about?

The federal government taking over land that belonged to the locals whom now want it back?

And at the very bottom of the article we see the feds real target.

It's the old white people that actually GO to the National Parks controlled by the fed (which is closing them off).

Jewell, who began her fourth year as Interior secretary this month, also said the Park Service and other agencies must do a better job reaching out to “under-represented communities,” including women, young people and minorities.

“The majority of visitors to national parks today look like me: older and whiter,” Jewell said. “We need to kick off the new century of American conservation by issuing a giant, open invitation to every American to visit their national parks and public lands.”

Yep, gotta get those aspiring rap "artists" and gang bangers out to the National Parks so they can become conservationists.

Yeah, that will fix that climate change thing too.

.
