Trump staffers face threat of blacklist

Some political operatives shy away from the billionaire for fear of being shunned by other Republicans.

When Matt Braynard signed on to run Donald Trump’s data team last fall, he got an email from a veteran GOP operative to whom he was close warning, “You realize once you go Trumptard, your career in GOP politics is over?”

Braynard took the job anyway, explaining that he believed in Trump, and that he wasn’t worried about being blacklisted. “This isn't a career, it's a vocation, and only God can take that away,” he said he responded.

But according to interviews with more than a dozen operatives — including several who oppose Trump, some who support him and the leaders of some prominent D.C. political shops — some of those who go to work for Trump face an implicit, and occasionally overt, threat: Help Trump, and you’ll never work in this town again.

If I were going to hire someone for my campaign, or any job, it would be important to know where they had worked previously. Job history can work for or against someone. I don’t see anything wrong with that approach.

This is different and you know it.

Too little too late. They had to read, research, put boots on the ground at the beginning—none of which they were capable of doing

And comments like this are why I cannot support Trump. Because after the convention is over, we’re all going to have to work together if we want to win the election.

Considering sheer level of vitriol that’s been thrown at non-Trump supporters, you’re actually going to expect us to work with you and vote for Donald ? Pass. We survived 8 years of Obama: we’ll survive 4 years of Her Thighness. . .

Considering what a whore Rovio has been, this nonsense is just plain disgusting. Yet another reason to kill the GOPe

Name names, or it didn't happen.

If it's a nastygram from Amanda Carpenter, for example, or Jonah Goldberg, who cares?

Funny how those threatening the end are the very ones who are so threatened for their own livelihoods.

Blow the whole dang thing up (figuratively).

The thread is about the bully tactics of the anti-Trump people. Yet you focus on the comments of one who supports Trump, and wants to fight back against the anti-American tactics of the anti-Trump bullies! Can you not see how illogical you are being—blaming the Trump supporters for fighting back against the bullies?

Many Trumpsters don’t want our support for Trump...neither does Trump. ....His campaign was and always has been a 3rd party operating within the Rep. Party. .....and that for the Demorats...... His supporters cannot see this....but the Demorats know they don’t have to do a thing but watch Trump do what they couldn’t without him.... They are loving the show....and when he’s done destroying everything he touches they’ll be ready to usher Hillary in.

What’s striking about most all Trump supporters is how simplistic and similar they all sound... The mindset is near identical. ... The rhetorical slogans are the same.... The high-energy emotional ‘feel’ is the same. The lack of ability to explain their (blunt and offensive) opinions is the same..... And this sprung up out of nowhere, it didn’t gradually develop....

And we will elect Trump with out you too.

Insults? You want to talk insults? Do not even try playing your victim card with me

‘EVERY’ registered Republican in CO. and WY. had the opportunity to vote for ‘Trump’s delegates’....they didn’t..he lost those delegates because he was unwilling to fight.

Some of these articles are very humorous.

Now they tell us the staff a man destined to be president, is afraid of what other Republicans will think of them.

I’ve got news for his pimp for Leftist propaganda outlets, it’s the other Republicans who are worried about what Trump’s people will think of them.

we need to be making a list of these people...

So THEY can be fired after

I don’t care who you support, but if you threaten another person because of who THEY support, you deserve to lose your job.

Yeah the #NeverTrump crew is soooooo clever. Can’t wait to see what the #NeverCruz people come up with once the #NeverCruz movement gets up and going.

They ain’t working too well, on the details, so far. Even the hold on the lemmings is beginning to slip.

Maybe few of them had much “political consulting” career ahead of them anyway.

Knowing that business, you are probably right.

The biggest thing is the first five words in your post. IF is a mighty big word.
