I have been very disappointed by the conduct of Ted Cruz in the last several months. And it DID start with Chicago. At this point, he does need to drop out for the good of the country. Hopefully someone he trusts will make this clear to him. (Newt?)

I thought my wife was going to break the TV when she watched his statement.

Luckily, with my considerable help, she restrained herself (it's a nice TV).

:-)

I hope Cruz steps back, takes a deep breath, and realizes he's got a bright future if he makes a deal with Trump. I am going to hold my breath, hoping he at least does it behind the scenes and plays a little kabuki theater until the convention.

I know the following is unlikely, but I really believe he would make a great Supreme Court Justice and if given the opportunity, it might be his calling. If not, he still has a good chance of becoming one of the great senators. He's young, there is plenty of time for him to rebound and have a great political career beyond the senate as well.
