The consultant, Cheri Jacobus, accused Mr. Trump and Mr. Lewandowski of libeling her by depicting her as a disappointed job-seeker who turned on Mr. Trump after he declined to hire her.Is this yet another woman "scorned?"

It matters not whether Cheri Jacobus is a "woman scorned" or the innocent victim of sexual advances by Donald Trump, it matters not whether she is a woman of no virtue or as saintly as mother Theresa, it matters whether or not Donald Trump lied about her maliciously to her damage.
I am assuming the court would find her to be a public person and therefore malice on Trump's part would be required to be proven.

Did he do what is alleged? There have been many similar postings of other women even here on fr.
How many other candidates have had this type of lawsuit filed at this time in the campaign?

Is this yet another woman "scorned?" If you read the article, you will see that there is a specific allegation that "Jim Dornan, a Trump aide who has since left the campaign, had sought to recruit Ms. Jacobus." Trump has not denied this allegation.
I suspect the scorned one is "Baby Donald".
