Actually the Russians are pretty decent at honoring alliances in war time. I can only think of one time the Russians withdrew from an alliance and that was when the communists forced Russia out of WW1 in a deal with the Germans. Treaties - Russia has been known to stretch those - but treaties are not alliances.

The Russians have honored alliances?

They murdered 100 million in the last century.

They invaded Ukraine after taking their nukes in return for promising to respect Ukraines sovereignty.

They have broken every treaty they have made with the US including the nuke treaties.

You are clueless.
