That’s a towering “if.” There are agencies already tasked with promoting our interests. The CIA should be gathering intelligence, not propagandizing.
The CIA shouldn’t exist at all, it’s inherently incompatible with representative government.
I agree, CIA is a tool, they shouldn’t be out trying to invent policy on their own.
