As the economic conditions worsen for America this sort of anti-progress, anti-industry suicide is going to get politicians hung.

Why create more jobs when we can all work at Starbux and Whole Foods for 15 an hour?

Libs who only support wind and solar should only be allowed to use wind and solar electric and no other energy sources. Cold, sorry can’t use NG to heat your house. Dark out, sorry solar dosent work at night, light a candle.

When will the people of this country ever learn. Everyone complains they are worried about the future of the economy and the future of their own employment. Yet the keep electing and re-electing job killing Democrats.

I feel bad for so many Oregonians. Most areas of the sate are pretty conservative but the huge population center in Portland with their green people, LGTB’s and old silver back hippies tilts the state left.

Personally I think Oregonians should ban all fossil fuels, all fossil fuel powered vehicles/engines/boilers and any Oregonian that disagrees with the first two propositions.

The author doesn’t get it. Even if these people accepted that it’s not going to stop the gas from moving to market, they’re perfectly content that it’s not going through their part of the world.

Looking at the map I can understand why this small community might not want an LNG terminal blighting their small section of the Columbia River & don’t want the added traffic congestion in a town with only one road in & out.

Again, looking at the map, the area on the north shore of the river is relatively unpopulated, in Washington state closer to the source, & wouldn’t require a pipeline under the river.

I find this really amazing as just a few years ago three was a effort to build a LNG terminal on Humboldt Bay to IMPORT LNG into the USA from the far east and it was trashed by the Greenie Weennies

Wasn’t Wyden the one that said “the virus must be stopped before it spreads” in reference to the the Malhuer protest, just before Lavoy was executed?
