So a depressed job and economic part of Oregon gets the shaft [and the US economy loses billions in our foreign trade balance] because 4 or 5 Clatsop County commissioners are environuts or got a few constituent emails saying not in my backyard. Plus, an Democrat Oregon Senator and Democrat state senator toe the anti carbon use party line.

The 11/2016 election is the only fix we have to save America.

Personally I think Oregonians should ban all fossil fuels, all fossil fuel powered vehicles/engines/boilers and any Oregonian that disagrees with the first two propositions.

Well, the very few of my classmates in Warrenton apparently don’t want jobs. Or is this the Coos Bay LNG plant?

Either way, those losers are all addicted to welfare.

The author doesn’t get it. Even if these people accepted that it’s not going to stop the gas from moving to market, they’re perfectly content that it’s not going through their part of the world.

Looking at the map I can understand why this small community might not want an LNG terminal blighting their small section of the Columbia River & don’t want the added traffic congestion in a town with only one road in & out.

Again, looking at the map, the area on the north shore of the river is relatively unpopulated, in Washington state closer to the source, & wouldn’t require a pipeline under the river.

There you go again, bringing reason and critical thought processes into the picture.

Way to wreck a perfectly good rant!

I find this really amazing as just a few years ago three was a effort to build a LNG terminal on Humboldt Bay to IMPORT LNG into the USA from the far east and it was trashed by the Greenie Weennies

Wasn’t Wyden the one that said “the virus must be stopped before it spreads” in reference to the the Malhuer protest, just before Lavoy was executed?
