It was a YUGE amount of work and all for nothing, except I have 4 very clean rooms and I am very sore.

Louie’s allergies were finally diagnosed from those 3 vomit samples and his Vet provided him with only 4 pills which he hopes will do the trick. Fingers crossed. We shall see.

Apparently, he has a food allergy ... to either roasted chicken which I’ve been giving him in his Science Diet dog food to hide his Benedryl pills or he’s allergic to the melted Mozzarella in which I also hide his Benedryl pills or he’s allergic to the Science Diet dog food and I must go back to the dry Purina Puppy. His Vet said the trouble started when he was switched away from Purina.

Louie also had small wood slivers in his vomit and he gets those from his ‘treasures’ outside in the backyard. Small twigs are all over the yard from our huge, 100+ year old Spanish Oak trees. I try my level best to take them away from him ... I’m always worried about those damn things and keep hoping he will grow tired of chewing on them. At least, he’s not attracted to the green mossy ones.

Apparently, he had fun at his Vet’s. When I arrived to collect him, I could hear the help playing with him and he’s sound asleep next to me.
