Can’t run a campaign, can’t run a country.

By successfully painting your guy as the consummate insider, he destroying his public image.

I have no idea where this will end up but your guy's image has taken a dreadful beating.

Looks like Cruz is the one taking the beating. if sleazy backroom deals and outright voter disenfranchisement is your idea of running a campaign successfully I think the American people are rejecting that.

This is not a comment to suggest a direct linkage, but, in reading the Whiner’s most recent wail, I’m reminded of a lesson from the War of Northern Aggression. Apparently Trump (the Whiner) did not learn from his fellow Northern General - William T. Sherman.

If you remember, Sherman is credited for “The March to the Sea” to bring the War to a close. The Whiner was not as effective as Sherman. Unlike the Whiner, Sherman did not stop until the War was won. The Whiner believes only in partial conquest - and then cries if there is an uprising.

From www.history.com:

“Sherman’s “total war” in Georgia was brutal and destructive, but it did just what it was supposed to do: it hurt Southern morale, made it impossible for the Confederates to fight at full capacity and likely hastened the end of the war. “This Union and its Government must be sustained, at any and every cost,” explained one of Sherman’s subordinates. “To sustain it, we must war upon and destroy the organized rebel forces,–must cut off their supplies, destroy their communications…and produce among the people of Georgia a thorough conviction of the personal misery which attends war, and the utter helplessness and inability of their ‘rulers’ to protect them…If that terror and grief and even want shall help to paralyze their husbands and fathers who are fighting us…it is mercy in the end.””

So true.

I think Donald entered this campaign on a lark and for publicity.

When his initial remarks struck a chord with people sick of political correctness, he was probably surprised.

Then with a billion in free publicity, he continued to climb, as every word he spoke was reported.

So, in the early primaries with 17 candidates, he won by picking up about one-third of the votes.

When it came time to do some work in the primaries and caucuses, he had no ground game.

He hired incompetent people by keeping to his policy of never hiring anybody smarter than he is. He’s admitted this.

This makes the gene pool a little lacking.

His game is now whining and accusing Ted Cruz of cheating and also citing unnamed and nebulous forces working against him.

He’s got his people ready to abandon states rights and put Trump in charge of all the primaries.

I shudder to think how he would run a country.

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.

Can’t run a campaign, can’t run a country.

Bullshit. He's running his campaign fine. He's just going up against a hopelessly corrupt party machine that's acting like a bunch of crooked Union bosses.

When Trump becomes the head of the party, this backroom swindling that your'e cheering for is going to end.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Jim Robinson was right: all Ted Cruz has left is blatant thievery.

This is why Cruz is tanking in the polls. Whether the procedures are proper or not, the optics are that of a sleazy party elite literally stealing delegates from the party's own frontrunner.

Rush Limbaugh admitted as much a few days ago. It's not that Cruz has any kind of great ground came or anything. It's simply that Cruz is now the designated beneficiary of the greased skids system that was put in to benefit the GOPe's designated insider. The GOPe just didn't anticipate that Ted Cruz would be the designated insider.

So you just keep deriding the Trump campaign, while the Cruz campaign more and more, in the eyes of the nation, epitomizes the entrenched, corrupt unfair Establishment that is far more interested preserving their power, thwarting the will of the voters, and sabotaging their own frontrunner.

So enjoy what's coming. I have no more sympathy for Ted Cruz or his GOPe benefactors.

They are going down, and they are going down hard.

Speaking of "running a campaign", how's the Cruz campaign doing up in the Northeast? Last I checked, Cruz was running a distant third to even John Kasich in most Northeastern states.

Trump supporters can only hope that Cruz keeps "running a campaign" so well.

Ted Cruz has lost. He will have been mathematically eliminated after the next Tuesday or two. Ted Cruz's only hope is to get the nomination at a contested GOP convention, which would irreparably splinter the party, and guarantee a GOP defeat in November.

Simply put, that's not going to happen.

"Can’t run a campaign, can’t run a country."

Oh, 2ndDivTed, when will you see Trump's playing them like violins? Getting called a whiner by serial posters like you is a small price, and in fact, great advertising.

Again, thanks for providing these threads where Trump candidacy supports can gather in fellowship to celebrate the failure of the desperate and unethical tactics of our opponent, the establishment Republicans and Ted Cruz, but I repeat myself.

“Can’t run a campaign, can’t run a country.”

That’s the first thing that came to my mind.

Trump supporters try to overlook Trump’s lack of experience by saying, yeah but, as a businessman he will know what kind of advisors to pick.

Trump doesn’t even know how to pick advisors to run his campaign!
