The slimy Saudis threaten us, pulling out their puny financial card. The US should ban all American companies from doing business with Saudi Arabia, declare a total boycott, and send all the Saudis in the US back to their hell-hole country.
We are energy independent and do not need to import the low-grade sludge from the Middle East when our WTI, a much better grade of oil, is sitting in train cars and tankers because of our surplus production.

I hate to break the news to you, but Nixon made a deal with the Saudis—they require all oil customers to pay in dollars, and we support their corrupt fundamentalist autocracy with the U.S. military.
Given that we are zillions in dollars in debt that deal is actually a good one for the U.S. Watch out for what you ask for..you might just get it.
