Jim,
I could go through your list of Trump positions and tell you that most of them will never happen. Some because they are just part of a sales scheme. Others cannot happen because they are patently unconstitutional (e.g. Banning Muslim immigrants). But mainly, I just don't find Trump to be credible or believable based on his past statements and actions.

But the item I take most exception to from your list is your assertion that the Donald will defend religious freedom. He will not. Trump has already stated he will side with the LGBT lobby on marriage, on religious objections to perform services and on transgender bathrooms in schools.

And if the Donald takes those stands as an individual or as a position in his administration, what makes you think he wouldn't desire those same beliefs from any judicial appointee?

I continue to find your extreme support of Trump - a person that many have believed to be an amoral and dishonest hustler caricature for the past 30 years - to be extremely naive. If Trump were running against an actual GOPe insider like McCain or Romney, perhaps I could understand your fascination.

But Trump is running against Ted Cruz, the most conservative Republican presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan. Cruz defeated a GOPe candidate to reach the Senate, lived up to his campaign promises while in the Senate, been a thorn in the side of Mitch McConnell and opposed Obama at every turn.

I don't fault you for wanting what the Donald is promising, much of it is attractive to me. But I could post a similar list of Cruz positions - minus Trump's unconstitutional ones, of course. The major difference between them is that Cruz's positions are authentic and consistent with his words, his work, his political affiliations and actions for the past 30 years.

That's utterly false. Get your facts straight. That's total ignorance on your part. The fact is, the President of the USA has arbitrar power to decide which aliens can enter this country. Period. It could be based on sex, religion, shirt color, or any other criteria. Unconstitutional? You're nuts!

So take your Leftist tripe regarding what's unconstitutional with respect to immigration and check again...

Perhaps you could understand JR's fascination, as you call it, if you would EDUCATE yourself on a few subjects: TPP, TPA, WTO, Ted's resume, Heidi's resume, globalism. That's for starters. Come back when you can speak intelligently about these core issues. As of now I could ask you the simplest question on any one of these topics and you'd make a ZERO. Uninformed opinions don't deserve to be heard. AND...

And on Free Republic GLOBALISTS shouldn't dump their waste products here. This place is for NATIONALISTS/PATRIOTS. You sir are a globalist. JR and DJT have the VISION to understand the 21st century and the existential threat that is GLOBALISM. You and your ilk are living in the past and will be stampeded unless Trump saves your sorry a$$.

Did you know during World War II we did NOT allow German men of military age to come to the United States? Or Japanese men? Or women for that matter...

Banning Muslim immigrants is NOT unconstitutional.

The LGBT stuff won’t matter when we loose our country to the foreign invaders.

Cruz was the first candidate but gave the leadership of the campaign over to Trump. Cruz could have come out on immigration as strong as Trump, before Trump entered. He did not to his detriment.

I only read your post and had to stop since it was just lies. Propaganda.

I don’t know how you can use the name Cruz and Reagan in the same sentence. If anything Donald Trump is the one closest to emulating Reagan.

I don’t believe that you really believe a word of what you said. It reads like a propaganda speech written by a paid Cruz staffer.

I guess you will just have to vote for Hillary or just stay home. We won’t need your vote.
