Full title: Cirque du Solei Cancels North Carolina Shows Over Public Facilities Act — Plans Shows In Dubai, Where Gays Are Put to Death.

Canada-based circus and theater entertainment company Cirque du Soleil has canceled its upcoming shows in Greensboro, Charlotte, and Raleigh in North Carolina to protest the state’s Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act.

“Cirque du Soleil strongly believes in diversity and equality for every individual and is opposed to discrimination in any form,” the group announced Friday in a press release. “The new HB2 legislation passed in North Carolina is an important regression to ensuring human rights for all.”

Homosexual activists and their allies are complete hypocrites. Everyone should realize this.

Homosexual activists have two main priorities. The first is the support of their ability to sue and threaten to sue businesses. The second is access to girls bathrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, etc.

We should never give in on either of these issues.

Can someone explain to me this liberal talking point?

How is it that, a law which simply restates and reinforces the existing laws and social norms, is a “regression” of ensuring human rights??? I’ve heard some say it’s a “return to Jim Crow” or a “big step backwards”.

How is restating and reinforcing the status quo, that men go in the men’s room and women in the ladies room, somehow a step backwards for anyone?????

Cirque du Solei Cancels North Carolina Shows

And how many straight people were going to buy tickets to see some theater-fags pose around and hop about?

Eight? Eleven?

They're harming only their fellow fags.

Maybe the Cirque will get to see some homosexuals thrown off those tall sky scrapers in Dubai. This is an excellent example of gold-plated ignorance. NC won’t miss them.

North Carolina is starting to look very family-friendly.

In the same way that enforcing existing laws on immigration is a “regression.” In the diseased minds of progs, any law that doesn’t promote the destruction of our culture is a “regression.”

Well, gee.

I was planning a trip to Orlando to see Cirque du Solei as a surprise to Mrs. Bears.

Guess I’ll take her somewhere else instead.

TOTALLY AGREE. With all the homosexuals and their enablers bowing out, North Carolina IS looking more family-friendly every day.

This is sad. They are a talented group. Why they choose to align themselves with Nazi like efforts to intimidate peo;e with normal human preferences, and a traditional moral compass, I will not speculate.

Homosexual activists have two main priorities. The first is the support of their ability to sue and threaten to sue businesses. The second is access to girls bathrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, etc.

You forgot money. Large amounts of money are another "main priority."

I suspect Dubai is paying more.

It costs Cirque du Soleil nothing to toss this heterophobic slur as they leave. Sounds better than "our profits are higher in Dubai."

Cirque is like the ice capades. Big with first dates, small children and the elderly.

Otherwise, no loss.

Like the circus, it’s one entertainment you can ditch as another boring night.

So they don’t like it that men can’t go to the women’s restroom but they don’t have a problem with homosexuals being thrown off tops of tall buildings or publicly hanged?

I’ve been to Dubai...several times.Homosexual acts are seriously illegal there.PDAs are illegal there.Unmarried people of opposite genders cannot share a hotel room there...it’s illegal.Dubai may well be the most “liberal” place in the moslem Middle East but when it comes to matters that they consider perverse they’re much, much,*much* closer to resembling Saudi Arabia (which is right next door) than they are to resembling San Francisco.

Oh,and I forgot to mention...in Dubai a very,*very* substantial percentage of the moslem women there (but not Western women) can be seen encased in those amazingly foolish looking black burlap sacks. And many of *those* are so rigid that you can't even see the woman's *eyes*.

It's true...with "allah" as my Judge.

Cirque du Soleil is a group of lefist artistic people, based in uber-leftist francophone Province of Quebec, and was sold last year for about $2 Billion to a soulless multinational corporation called TPG. I’d be shocked if it wasn’t engaged in the latest fad in leftist hypocrisy: demonization of western morals while simultaneously appeasing a barbaric culture that seeks to overthrow western society - starting first with homosexual leaning artistes. You can’t make this stuff up.

“TPG is a global private investment firm with more than $67 billion in assets. It has offices around the world, including in Toronto. The company has helped develop well-known brands such as J.Crew, Ducati and Neiman Marcus.”
