First of all, Georgia is a nenaderthal state if they still allow school officialt to hit a child with anything. Secondly, the woman had no choice, “let us hit your kid or you go to jail!” And reading between the lines, she’s a single mother so her other children? would be left alone or worse yet taken by the State. Third, I suspect at the end of the day it’s really about money. Missing 18 days puts a real crimp in the school’s ADA money! As for me, anyone hitting one of my children when they were five years old would be left with his jockstrap torn and bloody!

I can’t believe the number of posters who are writing as if a five year old child is a hardened psychopath with plans for a mass killing percolating in his mind.
