I am not sure. I do think the mom is a flake. I sure would have asked the principal to state a direct threat of jail time into the phone. If it was only implied that paddle would not have made a downswing at all.
Exactly, if she cares enough about going public about all this like she did, she should have never let it happen in the fist place. I mean come on, it’s not that hard. If she is this dumb, the kid is more doomed than he at least seems to be anyhow. Prayers for all involved.
