I laugh every time I hear some Trumpster suggest Cruz is “part of the system” or an “establishment candidate.”
The guy has been fighting ever since we sent him to Washington, whether in arguments before the Supreme Court or in opposing the party leaders in the Senate. He’s made a name for himself by being an outsider.
There are plenty of valid criticisms of Ted Cruz, and I have many. (Don’t like the guy, don’t want to vote for him.)
Being an insider is not one of them and just makes his critics look silly.
He’s a senator. And he has not accomplished anything. He didn’t even address the important issues (other than obamacare, oh and abolishing the IRS. Right!) until Trump did. He just hasn’t got what we need right now.
I don’t care if you laugh at me. You’re the foolish one.
If Cruz is not an insider why is he being heavily supported by McConnell’s SuperPAC? Why is a Cruz bundler telling donors that if they “hit their max” they can give in unlimited quantities to McConnell’s PAC—on Cruz’ behalf? Why did Cruz hire Jeb’s entire financial team, plus the crook, Neil Bush?
