The Full Title is:

Palin says voters won't stand for it if Republican "power brokers" try to take the presidential nomination away from Trump or Cruz

Again, Sorry if I expert too much or too little from U.S. News.

Let me know and I will have it fixed.

"If I can trust that the electorate is as fed up as I am with the shenanigans and the corruption and the crony capitalism ... and can handle a true outsider, then you know that the time would be right" to run for president, she said.

Sarah has been reading F.R. again because JimRob said the EXACT same thing.

I love this Quote Too:

She said she backs Trump because he is "so reasonable and so full of common sense and knows that for America to be great again we have to develop our natural resources" such as oil and natural gas.

Bam!

Palin says voters won't stand for it if Republican "power brokers" try to take the presidential nomination away from Trump or Cruz - Ping to Sarah's List!

Palin, who has endorsed Trump, said she is confident he will win the GOP nomination, but said she can support Cruz if he emerges as the nominee.

Shazam!

Sarah has been reading Free Republic Again, JimRob said the exsact same thing here: Path to certain failure: NeverTrump + NeverCruz = NeverWin = LostSCOTUS = LostFreedom = LostNation

Agree with Sarah on this. Difference with her statement and most Trump supporters, is, they think ONLY Trump is legitimate candidate.

Very good to see this published at a source other than her Facebook account.

Glad to discern that Todd is doing well-enough for her to attend Thursday’s meeting in DC.

Sarah’s descent is more than I care to witness.

I hope that at least he paid her well.

She’s right here, including Cruz in the equation.

I just voted for her husband in the FR Caucus.

You had better include Cruz in that mix, because I won’t vote for Cruz if he steals the nomination at the Convention.

Palin is angry at Cruz because he pulled an Obama rather than staying and fighting for conservatives in the Senate.

She literally spent her time, money, and lent her good name to put Cruz over the top in 2012.

With Trump clearly in the lead (last polling I saw showed him at 42% to Cruz’s 27%) if the GOPe steals the nomination from him and puts in their boy... I will *not* be voting for their choice. I don’t know if I will abstain, write-in Trump, or write-in “Deez Nutz” in protest. No more GOPe - they are just ‘rat-lite, a slightly different shade of commie. I’m done with them.

I would have considered voting for Sarah Palin if she weren’t running with John McCain at the time. She has a great logic. It’s history. I’ll have to take a giant gulp of undecided if Rubio were actually brought on board with Trump. I’ve pretty much lost faith in Cruz but so long as he doesn’t bring aboard someone like Rubio, I would likely vote for him if he gets the nomination.

The Republican party of Florida did this sort of thing a few years ago.

When Lt. Col. Allen West ran against Joe Klein the first time, The RPOF did NOTHING to help him at all. West lost that election, but only by a few points. It was remarkable that, with only grass-roots efforts on his behalf, West was able to get as many votes as he did.

West won the next time, in 2010. It was a great victory for the Republican party in that district, defeating the democrat incumbent who had been ensconced there for decades.

Once West was elected, the RPOF did all they could to discourage him. They ended up redrawing the lines of the district, effectively putting West out of a job.

Whatever you think of Allen West (and there are some FReepers who really don’t like him), one has to admit that this was just plain wrong. Changing the convention rules at the last minute just because the PTBs don’t like the People’s Choice smacks of tyranny, and I, for one, am sick of it.

I am disgusted. I just had my NRA safety instructor tell me she is voting democrat because the repubs are so out of control. I am not sure if she was joking but I dont think so.

That is not the way to deal with this!!! IMHO

EXCERPT.....re LYIN’ TED

While Palin said she could support Cruz, she said it was “unfortunate that he has people around him who are not truthful. I sure want to believe it’s the people around him and not Cruz as a person who would flip-flop on so many issues,” including trade and immigration.

“He was there at the border incentivizing illegal families coming on over the border with gift baskets of soccer balls and teddy bears and now he says he was never for amnesty. Yes, you were, dude, come on,” Palin said.
