This is such BS about overly-long sentences. In fact, they are turning loose violent criminals after very short stays. If people only realized just how horrendous a record someone has to have to be put away for any length of time, they would be appalled. Watch the show The First 48 sometime. People have gotten 5 years for murder. Many of the perps on the show have criminal records a mile long.
The left has managed to bamboozle people into thinking US prisons are full of teenagers who were caught smoking a joint. It’s not true.
