That's all well and good, but if the Colorado GOP is for Cruz, and against Trump, what's the big deal about bragging about getting your political will in the form of bound delegates for Cruz, without apologies.

Of course some of the voters in Colorado will feel otherwise, but so what? The Colorado GOP can thumb its nose at the voters. It has that right, and if it had the courage of its convictions, it would tweet #NeverTrump again. The party believes this is its best chance for success. That's the hand it intends to play, and I say, play it.

Disclaiming the tweet makes them look weak.
