Whether is man’s story is true or not, or an example of a mix-up, the fact that the Colorado Republican system is confusing is something that must be fixed by all Colorado Republicans and conservatives THEMSELVES.

We can’t do it.

This is an example of why the Democrat/Marxists beat the shit out of the GOP and many conservative groups all the time.

They are diabolical but they read the rules, and if they don’t like them, they either change them by hook or crook, or just ignore them, and SUCCEED.

If the Republicans/Conservatives DON’T GET THEIR ACTS TOGETHER ASAP, WE ARE GOING TO LOSE, AND I’M SICK AND TIRED OF LOSING, ESP. AFTER THE GREAT GAINS OF THE TEA PART MOVEMENTS.

It is time to “Man Up”, get smarter than the enemy, and make things internally better. If we lose in November to a female communist greedy bitch, then it is our fault not theirs. They just played it smarter which would say a lot about our people.

That has to be the most pathetic post I have seen in over a year:

the overwhelming and unnatural amount of funding, organization and sheer quantity of force the Cruz team marshaled was more than our little fare [sic] state of Colorado could muster on its own. It seemed like an uphill battle from the start

Only a liberal Democrat could write something this pathetic. The overwhelming and unnatural amount of funding? Seemed like an uphill battle from the start?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

"Trump has 743 bound delegates to 545 for Cruz, according to an Associated Press count"

36%

Silly Gator, don't you know Wikipedia is a much more authoritative source than the AP count?

Mollie ought to dig into Ted’s past to determine if Ted is a US Citizen

Great idea! You think she'll find something that all the judges that have ruled in all the court challenges so far in several different states have missed? How many birther challenges have to get shot down in court before folks realize that Ted's citizenship BY BIRTH as a US Citizen has been established?

The other odd bit of news is that the Cruz supporters have not yet figured out that the Colorado delegates who say they are for Cruz are under no obligation to vote for him on any ballot.

Actually, that is not true. The delegates had the option to either declare for a candidate or be unbound - but once they were elected after declaring for a candidate, they are bound on the first ballot for that candidate. Here are the actual rules:

"In the event a candidate for national delegate indicates on his or her notice of intent to run as a national delegate that such candidate is pledged to support a particular presidential candidate, the State Chairman of the Colorado Republican State Central Committee shall cast the vote on behalf of that national delegate on the first nominating ballot in accordance with the pledge of support made by such national delegate on their notice of intent to run."

So once those delegates indicated they were running as Cruz delegates, they became bound delegates when they were selected.

Good find Kaslin; but apparently Townhall is considered “establishment” rather than principled conservative source material now.

So the Republican Party that sits on their ass and watch’s Barack Obama break the rules, Hillary Clinton break the rules, Bernie Sanders break the rules and hasn’t lifted a finger to stop any of these people is now lecturing us about the sanctity of rules?

F@@k you.

Basically everybody is a liar and you can’t believe anyone. Turn off the TV, the radio and enjoy your time with your families and friends. Put a fork in it.

There is a conflict as to what will really happen, here is an article in the Denver Post on the rules change back in August.

Republicans still will hold precinct caucus meetings in early 2016 to begin the process of selecting delegates for the national convention — but the 37 delegates are not pledged to any specific candidate.

What ever the outcome, the State of Colorado GOP has not exactly covered itself in glory the last two presidential cycles.

Looks like we found the local Two Minutes Hate thread.

Scrolling through, nothing but unsupported hatred and bile towards people who don’t worship at the altar of St. Ted.

Woo.

“According to a series of conversations with party officials, while Lindsey did show up to his precinct caucus and was elected as a delegate to the county assembly, he never showed up to the county assembly, or, at the very least, never signed in for his credentials. On Facebook, he erroneously claimed he’d been elected as a delegate to the state assembly from his precinct caucus, something that is not possible under the rules in Douglas County. “Since Mr. Lindsey did not attend the County District Assembly he was not elected to be a delegate to the State Assembly, nor could he have been, so there is no way that he would have been listed as a delegate to the State Convention when he tried to check in on Saturday morning,” Tanne Blackburn, chairman of the Douglas County Republican Party, explained in a press release. He’s blaming his own comprehension failures on the Colorado Republican Party and claiming the party targeted him for being a Trump voter. In truth, he wasn’t even a delegate to the state assembly to begin with. Nevertheless, he promises that he “will raise holy hell” and is “sick to death” of Douglas County Republicans and “ashamed” of being a Republican.”

Wow. The low information voters are really out in force this year. And Larry Wayne Lindsey appears to be an appropriate exemplar for them. They don't seem to know where they are or where they are going.

True - if the delegates declared themselves as unpledged when they filed to run as a national delegate, then they are unbound. But if they identified themselves as pledged to a particular candidate when they filed, then they are bound to that candidate for the first ballot. They don't even get a choice - the state chairman casts their ballot for them based on who they listed on their filing.
