Wow, I never saw so much underhandedness jumping from country to country to become “citizens”. So Cruz’ US born mother was in fact a British citizen by first marriage, before she became a Canadian citizen by virtue of the Commonwealth. And Rafael Sr. was a Cuban communist who stayed under the radar in the US by marrying US citizens (twice). What a tangled web we weave.....
Now we understand why Cruz’s official Canadian birth certificate had ted’s mom’s name as Wilson on it.
She and Rafael Sr were probably not married because he was still married to his other wife.
