That is not true. Heck. I didn't even vote for Romney and neither did BlackElk.

Regarding the problems at Eagle Forum, this could be a regular old-fashioned changing of the guard where the Cruz support is a symptom, not a cause.

Phyllis Schlafley is the Grand Dame of American conservatism, and I have not and will not speak ill of her personally. That does not mean she can keep up with everything at 91 that she scould at 71. No less than the great Fr. Marx of HLI, it's founder, was the object of a similar coup, but with no politics involved. If that change had not happened, HLI would have gone bankrupt. He still gave a good speech, as I saw him in Chicago after the fact at the Chicago Athletic Club. A GREAT man.

I do not know if that's the case with Eagle Forum, but there could be more to the story.
