Proving to be just about as important as a huge stadium full of 20,000 screaming fans.

Cruz seems to have a very strong and effective ground game. Trump just throws out Hail Mary’s and complains about the officiating when they fall short.

Trump screwed up Colorado big time. He had no ground game and didn’t know the rules going in. As a result he got swept. Then he sent out his sycophants to complain that the rules that were in place long before he made his announcement were not “fair”. Whaaaahh!

The rules are in place and the ground troops know the rules. Trump doesn’t want to play by the rules. He just wants to bitch when he fails to win. Just like his fellow egomaniac Obama.

Bit off topic, but if there’s one thing we should’ve learned from Mitt’s defeat by BO in 2012, thousands of people filling a venue for a candidate doesn’t necessarily equal votes. I recall seeing pictures of Mitt’s appearances with seemingly thousands of people there to hear him.

I tend to think tRump’s crowds are a lot of “let’s go hear the ‘you’re fired’ guy speak,” but that may be due to my bias against the man.

I’m a WY Republican and was looking to caucus in my area. I got no notice (though I had registered with the locals and given contact info well in advance). Though I was traveling in Feb, I expected to be back in time. Looked where to caucus in area online. I felt very much shut out like the fix was in—for Cruz. Another WY Republican friend had the same experience.

Ironically, a very elderly relative in a nursing home, a registered Dem, got her notice from Dems and was urged to participate.

Just saying....

It would be a shame if President Clinton appoints 3 or 4 Supreme Court Justices. I have no doubt they would change the ruling on an individual right to bear arms, among other things. Thank the man from Canada and those from the Northern Rockies who supported him.

Then the faith-based community needs to get on their knees and pray that God opens their eyes to lying Ted. He is so receptive.

Same problem Guiliani had, no recognition West of old Miss. And poor quality evaluation by voters on candidates, imho. Remember it took States burning from forest fires to make them mad enough to vote against Bill Clinton. Short term thinkers who base decisions on negative ads.

"The positions that Trump has held over his entire career just don’t resonate with Wyoming conservative voters...”

One little fix (No charge!) gives Buchanan's statement nationwide applicability. ;-)

Cruz cannot win Florida, VA, OH, PA, MI, etc. I am sure Hillary appreciates your support.

Wyoming is all of 500,000 people including children and pets.

Wyoming is conservative except when they’re not, and they don’t like change except when things change. Their mindset is a leave-us-alone or at least leave-us-mostly alone or try to leave us alone unless we’re not around, then have at it. They allow you to have yourself a short visit, you are allowed to spend your money, then go home and you should go home.

Liberal enclave Jackson Hole is tolerated so long as liberals there keep quiet. Wyoming people don’t like ‘loud’ anything. They view both Cruz and Trump as ‘loud’ with Trump the louder.

Trump has problems connecting with Wyoming people because most of the time they’re asleep, even when they’re standing up with their eyes open.

Don’t wake Wyoming up. They like their nap times after morning naps, before afternoon naps and especially before evening naps. These are actually pre-naps but don’t tell them that or they might invite you to go hunting. You do not want to go hunting with someone from Wyoming. Trust me.

Cruz advantage over Trump is he pretends to be someone different for every different group of people. In Wyoming he’s put good indicates that he’s just like to get the locals to vote for him. He’s lying of course, but it works and is smart politics.

Trump on the other hand never pretends to be something he isn’t. Same clothing everywhere he goes, same words, ect. Trump is running the most genuine campaign I’ve ever seen.

Great, Cruz is big in red states with hardly any electoral college delegates and arcane opaque delegate selection processes. That really bodes well for his chances in the general election.

I think this is nonsense, Trump connected just fine here in Nevada, and I do not think we are much different than Republicans in Wyoming, or Idaho. There is no real difference in the size of the crowds that Trump is drawing anywhere, the only difference is the establishment has gotten better at cheating.

How many towns in NY have more voters than Wyoming? 50? 100?

It’s about time to reprieve Jon Lovitz as Ted Cruz: “I can’t believe I’m losing to this guy.”
