You haven’t provided any further evidence either. Where do you get your hypotheticals? I would give you an F in math if this was all you had to show.

Hiking the Minimum Wage will equal AUTOMATION VERY SOON!
Yes, and the terminator of this robo-apocalypse won’t look anything like Arnold - but more like the Domino’s drone used for making pizza deliveries.
It won’t come from AI software engineers trying to make robots smarter than we are, it’ll come from hardware engineers making them more cost-effective replacements for human labor, to help businesses cope with our own misguided efforts to artificially raise the cost of our own labor while denying the realities of a free-enterprise system.

You asked about the hypotheticals. They are based on the data given in the article itself.
Unfortunately, despite the Castles Empire State history, the road ahead may be difficult: Were disappointed. What this means for White Castle is we really have to evaluate how we manage our business, Richardson tells me. About 30 percent of every sales dollar covers the pay of our hourly workers, and that doesnt include management.
So do I get an A+ now. Calculating a new cost basis in not rocket science.

I dont think I want people having fun around (or with!) my food. I don't think I want to eat food that was prepared by people who don't enjoy doing it.

For me the nominal increase in inflation would be offset by my knowing that everyone working for $15/hr or 30K per year no longer qualifies for benefits. I think it might be worth it.

Yes also my favorites.
Another quick story came to mind. The shop's basement had a cafeteria, where they served a variety of foods, but also the company's hamburgers. One week a year, that offered the burgers for all you could eat. During that week, they had a contest to see who could eat the most. There was a big guy - forget his name, who won. I think he always pounded down 100 - shades of Cool Hand Luke. A couple mess me up, can't image what it was like following that guy around for the rest of the day - lol.

[If labor cost doubles then labor goes from .30/dollar to .45/dollar]
I’m on your side on economic issues, of course. However, it appears you meant to say “if labor cost increases 50%”.
If labor increases from $9/hr to $15/hr, that’s a 66% (rounded low) increase - closer to 67%. 2/3 increase.
30 cents per dollar would now be 50 cents per dollar.

YOU FEEL Bad?——think of how I feel at 93 after seeing so many years of useless change to my country-—I remember all of us suckers who enlisted for war after the Japs attacked Pearl Harbor-——I think of the 400,000 who died and the millions who were wounded, some for life, for a country that has rotten, thieving politicians stealing the wealth and still sending young, stupid kids off the wars in every hell-hole of the world-—30k for flipping burgers——sheesh-—of course they can get a girl friend, have a couple of kids and make about 75k from welfare of all sorts——what’s your poison?-——cheers

There are no White Castles on the Left Coast. Farthest west is Kansas and they don’t franchise either.

Yes, you’ve seen a lot. God bless you. I’ve already lost my father who was a Korean War veteran. Y’all fought for a nation that so many liberals in this nation are trying to destroy; and being pretty successful at it.

Youre not getting COLAs for Social Security because the biggest population is aging into Social Security.
You're not getting them because the Democrat Party wants the promise of COLAs as a turnout weapon in its pocket come November. Just like student loan forgiveness.

Mmm - Whataburger. Have to drive to Oklahoma for nearest.
Love their spicy ketchup and mustard. Now in some grocery stores.

You made me laugh because I only ate White Castle sliders after a night of drinking and a need to purge. Had to give up drinking so now I don’t need White Castle anymore.

.50/1.20 = X / 100 = 42%. A 12% increase over the current 30%. No where near 50% increase...

If beef prices go up 50% that will be passed on immediately to the consumer. No hub bub, just business as usual. But if labor costs goes up at all it is a political crisis of monumental proportions and the whole world is coming to an end.
