The GOPe: Not just too big to fail, so big we don't even need your votes!

You donate. We decide. That's the order of things.

I think I’ll repeat part of my post on a related thread here:

It’s not the “GOPe” or any other nameless faceless organization that “took the vote away from the people of Colorado”, the state of Colorodo itself decided not to have a caucus or a primary.

So all of this talk about voter disenfranchisement is pure bunk, to put it mildly. If the people of Colorado want to have a (Republican) primary or caucus they should influence the Republican Party there to do so.

It’s not like Cruz swept in and cancelled a planned caucus or primary by some devious trick. THE STATE DECIDED MONTHS BEFORE THE PRIMARY SEASON TO NOT HOLD AN ELECTION!

It’s not Cruz’s fault the “voters didn’t get a voice” it’s COLORADO’s “fault” (and since when do we conservatives from other states feel we have a “right” to tell other states how they do business? The only ones on this board who have a right to complain are residents of Colorado. Everyone else should shut up).

The system was known and in place for months. It’s Trump’s fault and his alone for not knowing it. The SYSTEM was there, known MONTHS in advance. He’s just whining about it now because he got caught in his ignorance. It’s not Cruz’s fault for following the system COLORADO chose.

To the point of the OP: who knows who put that there but sure, is there any secret that the GOP doesn’t like Trump? Is that really so shocking. Don’t be stupid and think they like Cruz either. They don’t. Cruz is just assuring he will have the delegates from Colorado in his corner at least as much as he can have such assurance. He’s doing all he can to win in the system in place and win not only against Trump but ALSO the “GOPe”.

I've seen multiple reports, including a firsthand account from a delegate, that people who voted for Trump or were known to be in favor of Trump were ejected from the vote.

And then after that bit of work, Cruz swept! What a surprise!

I think the GOPe is on to something here.

Why don’t we eliminate the November election altogether, hold a bi-partisan delegate meeting in CO, pass some joints around the room and let them figure out who will be President?

It would save a lot on campaign ads.

Colorado Trump Delegate Removed And Replaced

The CO delegates were originally slated to all go for Jeb Bush. There wasn’t chance in the world that they were going anywhere else.

No one planned for Jeb to be sidelined, but Trump did it anyway.

So Jeb dropped out.

Since he has suspended his campaign, they needed an insider to be a place holder for the delegates and that turns out to be Cruz, who will control those delegates until the Convention, then, after a few slight of hand tricks, they are slated to go back to Jeb, or maybe Mitt.

Cruz will never get to enjoy the delegates at the convention.

Typical pot heads. The GOP in Colorado have been sampling too much. Corrupt as hell.

Their actions and the result proves beyond all doubt their actual mission WAS nevertrump. Of course they will deny the tweet.

I think Trump deliberately let Colorado go so he could use it to show who corrupt politics is. Trump directly reaches 10+ million with tweets and facebook posts, then there are shares and retweets. He can reach 20 million people in minutes.

Think about it. He’s going to blow this up.

Amazing how so called self professed “conservatives” bong the elite establishment kool-aid. Probably take it as an enema too. Drunk on it for sure.

I agree with Jim;

GOP Cruzers afflicted by second hand pot smoke out there

Whoever put out that tweet, one has to wonder if it was second hand.

One does have to wonder about that Rocky Mountain High situation. The Republican Party took away the right to vote, and nobody noticed?

It does sound like a taxation without representation situation, and that never goes well.

I do congratulate Ted Cruz for clarifying things. The Republican Party can no longer seriously claim to be the "lesser of two evils".

Gosh, am I seething, the more I think about what's going on.

Cruz is a modern day Icarus. The support of the GOPe, starting with the screwing of Carson in Iowa, now the Colorado debacle, the delegate stealing in Arizona, the mistresses, the D.C. Madam, the challenge in New Jersey, and on and on, there are just too many factors coming into play. He is very close to a spectacular fall. I don’t know exactly what will bring him down, but even his most ardent supporters know at some level that it is coming.

The GOPe is using him as a tool right now in their scorched earth campaign against Trump so they are doing their very best to keep Cruz afloat, But at some point the plug holding the air in the S.S. Cruz is going to get pulled out. His career in politics will most likely be over the day it happens.

They planned it that way, executed their plan, and got caught. Very stupid thing to do in the information age.
