Trump is a symbolic departure from the long-standing manipulation of the GOP Establishment.
Lots of people Trump's age went to college. But now, people who don't belong there go. That makes it WORTHLESS! At least back then, there wasn't grade inflation and the damned AA.

Only a fool would look at both parties and think either’s machine represents the American people; people who supported Perot and Nader at least could think outside the box and wish for something more than the same old Uniparty (and I supported neither of those candidates).

A degree was not that important at that time because a high school graduate had far more education than recent college graduates who cannot pass the eighth grade final from my era!
By the time I finished high school I knew more about the United States Constitution and the rules of congress than our current president or most current members of the house or senate.
