If I was a Cruz supporter I’d simply be embarrassed.

If I was a Trump supporter, I'd be embarrassed at the incompetence of the Trump campaign.

>>voters elect President

Do they? Or is it the Electoral College?
Does the popular vote really matter?
What leverage does the populace have to force Electoral delegates to vote according to the popular vote?

I don’t know.

I see Bolshevism.

I see typical corrupt politics.

I see yet another tool, following his/her master.

I see a karmic solution on the horizon.

I see Cruz, symbolically tossed in an alley, shorts around his ankles and a GOPe IOU at his feet saying: "Sucker".

No one voted for a candidate in the most recent Colorado caucus. They voted for delegates who supported their candidate. By the way, the people who attend caucus’ are voters not party insiders.

Where are the vote totals? Not delegates. Vote totals.

The fact that you cannot see the anger and backlash that will generated
by this CO mess shows how out of touch you are.

Winning in this way will eventually be a hollow victory.

You don’t seem capable of an unbiased observation.

This is Stalinist Tyranny.

These are the rules that were put in place eight months ago, primarily to resist the GOPe. Maybe if someone working in the Trump campaign (such as yourself) had taken the time last summer to learn what it takes to win the Republican Party nomination, then we wouldn't be in this situation of you blaming Ted Cruz for the Trump campaign's incompetence. Stalinist tyranny? Please.

Why should they be concerned? They seem to control every aspect of the election, from voter fraud to delegates.

I’m beginning to think that the GOPe is using Cruz to get rid of the Tea Party. Same with Beck trying to co-opt it and maginalize.

Embarrassed about what? It's Cruz that needs a huge majority of the remaining delegates to win this thing outright. The right thing from Cruz would have been to withdraw since, mathematically, he has very little chance to win outright.

At this point all Cruz can do is help the GOPe try to steal this thing. You should be embarrassed!

Well, I guess that guy who said that voters and primaries didn’t really matter in elections was right. Now what?

-- And Fat A$$ Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin will be tap dancing all around this to protect this POS we call Ted Cruz! --

I don't think they will tap dance around it. I think this will be held out as an example of Cruz's superiority and Trump's inferiority.

>>So if a child rapist gets off Scott free because the cop did not follow procedure,<<

Good grief...is this an attempt at moral equivalency? Sah-wing and a miss.

Do you actually believe Trump is squeaky clean? Would you have me entertain the notion Trump has never skirted that fine line between legal and illegal in all his years?

Man oh man.

Very few of the people still advocating for Cruz are real at this point. Most of the ones left are paid operatives. Nobody else would defend this kind of crap. If you notice, they all use the same canned talking points too.

What leverage does the populace have to force Electoral delegates to vote according to the popular vote?

None. Their only influence is over the Party selecting those electors. Today's Parties ask their electors to sign a pledge to vote for the candidate they represent. As recently as 2000, a Dem delegate did not vote according to their pledge. Needless to say, that person will never be allowed to be a Dem delegate again.

You are so clever huh? You have no voters, but still, you have cute little rules. Here is the first rule homie, piss off your voters and watch your precious party burn.
