If you are right, Cruz is the tool of the decade for the corrupt party class.
Cruz is a bought and paid for career politician. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s not a coincidence he stood with his big donors and not us on TPA. Even if it meant enabling the most lawless POTUS in history, Ted Cruz was fine with TPA because his big donors demanded it.
I would guess that at least 1/3 of Trump’s supporters were not active Republicans last election.
Trump got 1.1 million votes in FL. The kenyan won by 80k. Do the math, Einstein. Cruz isn’t winning FL in a general.
Personally, I believe almost ALL of the Cruz supporters will go elsewhere if it’s Trump. They hate Trump and they hate Trump supporters. And the Trump supporters feel the same way about Cruz supporters.
Ted Cruz isn’t going anywhere. He’s a bought and paid for career GOP politician. His supporters are with him and when he tells them to vote Trump in the general they will. Period.
All the GOP establishment had to do was bend over, pick it up, and stick it in their pocket [support Trump].
Instead, they went Tasmanian Devil on their OWN candidate - because he MIGHT derail the Washington gravy train.
LOL! The dems could have ASSURED that Trump would face them in the fall by crossing over in Wisconsin to defeat the GOPee puppet Cruz.
Instead, the Democrat vote machine in the Wisconsin Big Cities crossed over for Cruz - because HE is the weaker candidate...

Why is Lying Ted trying sooooo hard to get us to vote against him? I began this primary as a Ted Cruz supporter and he pushed me away time and again.
1. Trump will have more votes won
2. Trump will have more states won
3. Trump will have more pledged delegates won
Considering how insane that is, I think he just wants to hurt Trump, forcing him to postpone starting to unite the party.
In the 1976 Primary, Reagan continued fighting Ford for unpledged delegates and battled right up through the Convention even though:
1) Ford had more votes won;
2) Ford had more states won;
3) Ford had more pledged delegates won
Reagan kept fighting for unpledged delegates to put him over the top, but ultimately lost despite what some considered to be shananigans at that Convention. But the truth is that the process for selecting a nominee has always been controlled, ultimately, by the party itself as a private organization.
For a great many years, nominees were picked in the proverbial "smoke filled rooms" by the people who worked within the party and cared about its fortunes in times other than just right around elections. It was never exclusively a "popular vote" exercise, and anyone familiar with the political history of the country should know that.
If you aren't liked by the party establishment, and aren't willing to run subject those rules, then you have the choice of running as a third party or independent. That's what Teddy Roosevelt did.
I think it is becoming more and more clear that Trump should have run as an independent. It is pretty clear that a lot of his supporters don't really like the GOP as a party at all, and that was true even before this primary season. They actually detest it.
So what did they expect? Did they expect the party that they detest to simply roll over for the people who hate it? To go away meekly because "the masses" are out to destroy it? Whether they should have done that is irrelevant -- expecting them to do that is just naïve.
Similarly, Bernie Sanders will not be allowed to win the Dem nomination.
Wisconsin is a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of the Democrat Party because of the Dem vote machines in the Wisconsin Big Cities.
The 2016 presidency and the future direction of the Supreme Court was lying in the middle of the road like a shiny unattached gold piece. All the Republicans had to do was bend over, and pick it up [back Trump for the nomination].
Denying Trump means millions will do everything they can to insure the RNC never wins again. If they truly want to commit suicide then they will have to really cheat because we’re going to get him to 1237.
Not a Trump supporter.
Not a Cruz supporter.
Will not vote for Hillary or Bern.
I will however vote DEM down ticket if Trump is not dealt a fair deal by the CURRENT set of rules.
We could have had the presidency in the bag two months ago.
The GOP elite didn't want to risk losing their sweet little Washington corruption deal.
I might be one who does just that. The idea is to just hasten the shooting revolution.
What a shocker - the GOP establishment goes ahead and nominates a candidate at the convention who nobody even voted for, and voters feel cheated.
