Is the guy bringing suit also a candidate which gives him “standing” which is what all the suits against Obama lacked? This really needs to be put to rest. All the cases cost taxpayers.

The other cases brought by citizen voters have been thrown out on the standing issue. In this newest challenge, the petitioner has Competitor Candidate Standing, as he has filed as a write-in candidate for POTUS, thus overcoming the standing issue.

Nclaurel,

Per lafroste, it’s not the n. b. c. question, it’s whether he was truthful or not when he filled out the form.

Look at how quick the official reacted.

He has registered as a write in candidate. And that gives him “standing” (at least according to him).

“Is the guy bringing suit also a candidate which gives him “standing” which is what all the suits against Obama lacked? “

He has CONTRIVED a candidacy as a ruse to try to get standing.

For that reason alone, the case will fail. You cannot contrive standing.

But being a candidate is not enough to create standing.
