I got a story about voter fraud right here in the swamps.
Last year one of our guys, the Sussex GOP, actually caught the husband of a Democratic candidate STEALING CAMPAIGN SIGNS! Got it on video, in the newspapers, and all.
So the state Republican party, headed by Charles Copeland, lover of Mike Castle....betcha y’all didn’t know about this?....said the Republican party will not file a complaint, aren’t they just the sweetest, those Repubs being gentlemen and everything?
So LAST WEEK....they got the same guy on audio tape taking commands from a county exec. up state to browbeat folks in Section 8 housing, that he owns, to vote for HIS WIFE!
This guy has been perverting the election process for years and the Republican party, via Mike Castle’s lover (you know I CAN’T make this up) gave him a pass.
The state is an uproar over this, as well it should be.
Republicans lose because they give it away.
Good candidates make the difference. A lot of times if we don’t get the right people in the primaries it’s all over for us.Sadly, more and more people who could run and “could” do a good job don’t want to put up with the process.
So mass went fine except a)they forgot to bring out the children from Sunday School before dismissing. B)the Cantor sang absolutely everything wrong c)three altos behind me sang the wrong parts, more on this later, d)they ran out of bulletins ,e) they took up a petition to save Todd which I did not sign.
Why?
Because Father Tom was in the hospital and I know why but I might be the only one.
By the way, I already wrote the book about the priest. We shall call it Thorn Birds II.
Heh.
Wonder how many of you get this.
I did offer Todd a place to stay in my house cause Lord I’ve known the guy for almost fifteen years and I could live with him.
Anyway, these altos, they NEVER come to practice. Now a more normal Choir Director would not allow people to sing in concert that have not been to practice.
But Todd, he just wants to play the organ. All the rest gets on his last nerve.
So the non-practicing Altos sang the wrong parts. I took each one of them, face in my hands, and told them I loved them.
“You’re so very good, Pat,” they told me. “Help us learn the part”.
I told them all, face in my hands, that the reason I am so good is because I COME TO PRACTICE!!!
Heh.
I also then said that of course I was good for other reasons, insert smile here.
Father Jones stopped in mid-aisle and waved at us up in the choir loft….cause he’s a priest and priests like me, I don’t know why but I love it.
