The Republicans do not have so-called Superdelegates. They just put their elected officials in delegate slots for the candidate they do not want to win. They act or not act accordingly as to the wishes of the party. Even more corrupt than the Democrats.

There are no ‘delegate slots’ in a certain sense, at least in most states. The first ballot will be a roll call of states, with each state’s spokesman announcing the votes required by state rules. Individual delegate votes are not consulted (unless they are uncommitted or released), nor are they assigned to a candidate.
