I don’t know the facts only read the CNN piece, but he was hit in the ass at a stop, obviously he was upset, but who wouldn’t be. I don’t know about you but my first instinct isn’t to come out with a gun in my hand and shoot the guy and his wife.

Well, since the guy who did the shooting was the one who rear ended him I can see the POed part on Smith’s part.

The above is said as one who has been in an accident caused by another. I was right POed but the other driver was very apologetic.
The peculiar thing is the other driver apparently started the thing by rear ending the Smith vehicle, pushing the Smith vehicle into the one in front of it. Had I done that, I’d have remained in my vehicle and withed for the police to come. No way I’d have gotten out of my vehicle to get into a possibly lethal confrontation.
