It is those who are making these deals who operate on the lies of trade deficits.
If they want free trade open their borders and we will trade with them.
What the guys who are behind these deals is control of trade, not free trade.
Buying and selling doesn't work that way though, it's something done by folks like you and I and we buy and sell when it suits us. We swap stuff for $ and viceversa depending on whether it's to our advantage, we usually don't check w/ national policy first.
Trade deals are arrangements between governments and I usually vote for gov'ts that lower my taxes. Cutting import taxes is part of it.
