A local department store shut down.
Our local market shut down with 48 hours’ notice. Shelves had been pretty much emptied by the time we got there for the last time (Everything 20-40% off!)
Today: My son’s Christian high school sent out an email saying they are shutting down. (Thank goodness he’s graduated.)
Wonder if the liberal morons of America still can’t figure Obama out?

The events you describe occur in NJ all the time; there wasn’t even a “false recovery” here. Private schools are closing, and in some cases used by the public school system; otherwise they sit vacant as the state is slowly being evacuated anyway.
Do not know where you are located but you can read about daily job cuts, bankruptcy, and store closings here, I find it the most alarming site on the internet.
