GOP Rep Peter King: Any New Yorker Who Votes for ‘Phony’ Cruz Needs Their ‘Head Examined’
Breitbart News ^ | 1 hour ago

Thursday on AM 970 Rep. Peter King (R-NY) criticized Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), calling him a “phony” and saying his supporters in New York would need their heads examined.

King said, “Let me say something about the New York primary, any New Yorker who even thinks of voting for Ted Cruz should have their head examined.

Really, here’s a guy who refused to sign onto the 9/11 health care act for the cops and fireman.

Here’s a guy who talks about New York values.

To me, New York values is what people did after 9/11 — the cops the fireman, the National guard units that were over in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

He continued, “New York keeps going froward. We’re tough, and to have some guy like Ted Cruz with cowboy boots walk around criticizing us. So listen, I hope he gets the cold shoulder and other things from every New Yorker. Send him back where he belongs. And he’s a phony,”

New York values = De Blasio, Cuomo, Clinton, Schumer, the first state to allow abortion on demand, LGBT rights, socialism, gun control, and everything else real conservatives detest. It’s harder to find a true conservative in NYC than in San Fran.

If Trump has truly converted to conservatism then that’s awesome, but he ought to be taking lessons in conservatism from the junior Senator from Texas.

“Lyin’ Ted Cruz....cheated with a hooker and had his ‘candy wrappers’ handy...”

Internet Garbage but what is NOT garbage is that Trump cheated on his wife.

Pete King, Ann Coulter, Chris Christy, Planned Parenthood. FReepers are quite fickle lately. What’s frightening is that this is what conservativism will morph into. Next FR will have a pronoun policy so as not to upset the trannies.

I don't have a problem with negative pieces on Cruz or Trump, as long as they are based on real facts, unbiased in their reporting and not hit pieces. We shouldn't be like the demoncrats hiding things as they did with Lord Foul, neither should we be like demonrats throwing every piece of excrement we can find hoping it sticks to the guy we aren't for. I want information based in facts so that I can make a rational choice, not irrational, emotional hyperbole that just preaches to the choir.

Cmon Harley even as a Trump supporter first and Cruz supporter second I’d not make statements like this. We deal in facts on FR and nothing as of yet has been produced showing he has yet had any extramarital affairs. Had it been he’d already have been out and the evidence fully and unequivocally exposed for th world to see. Deal in facts not hatred.
He thinks he is NBC because for his particular circumstance nothing has been challenged to the court otherwise. If it were so black and white there’d be no argument to be had.

Again facts not emotions

Does this make Rep. Peter King = exSec.State Madeleine Albright for a bit of excess idiocy?

6 February 2016;
Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright introduced Hillary Clinton at an event in New Hampshire on Saturday, telling the crowd and voters in general: “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!”

FYI: The 9/11 health care act for the cops and fireman was a Democrat initiative to break the Congressional sequester on the budget. Like many other such things, it sounded better than it read.

"You guys are such suckers.

How’s the GOPe pay?"

I will argue my point with anyone, but when the thread is done
I will start off fresh with you on another, no ill will carried over

If you are here trying to converse, learn and do something positive for our nation
you deserve my respect, and you'll get it

Nearly everyone here on Free Republic is trying to do something positive for our nation. That includes Cruz, Rubio, Carson and probably even Kasich supporters.

No doubt Clinton and Sander’s supporters too.

I mean lets just get them all on the table.

This is one big happy family, and we’re getting together at 7:00pm in the vespers hall to sing Kumbaya.

One man has promised to upset the apple-cart. One man can do it. One may has the CEO experience, and a high finance background with a reputation of getting things done.

And now we’re down to the final days before the convention is set, and we have one person trying to block him.

This is it. It’s been 30 years since Reagan, and it will be another 30 years before another powerhouse comes along.

By then our nation is toast.

This is our last chance.

The junior senator from Texas is a lying cheat. He is no conservative and those who think he is are downright stupid!

Aren’t they special?

The “crowd” was for him here in IL, and he came in third, 10.6 points behind Cruz.

I don’t think he has the juice to beat Trump in these contests. Some Cruzers might vote Trump if Cruz is running 3rd.

I’d feel dirty rooting for him.

Grumble. Grumble. 3 candidates left and 2 of them are super yucky.

Cruz looks like 3rd place in CT. But he will get the 20% threshold.

silly dream last nite. Trump lost CA but won NJ. Not sure if you were there at the primary nite party. I was asking about MT, etc. Even when I am asleep I remember which states are on June 7th. Means I thinks about this stuff too much. I should go back to dreaming about golf.
