Looking through the 6 losses, I would have (likely) ruled against Texas in Medicaid Funding, Sentencing Error 1, Sentencing Error 2, and Death Penalty for the mentally ill. In death penalty for child rapists, as much as I would want to rule in favor of Texas, I would probably rule against Texas. On redistricting, I do not have enough information to form a conclusion.
I am disinclined to hold the losses against Cruz as they were in my opinion cases that Texas was wrong in. One could reasonably hold it against Cruz that he appealed the cases to the Supreme Court. I don't know if the Texas SG can admit an error in a case or not appeal. I am disinclined to hold against Cruz that he tried to claim more of them as victories as that is typical behavior.
