Yes. There are a lot of long suffering conservatives here (fortunately I live in Devin Nunes’ conservative district), but they make up about 25% of the population.

I'm from NY. I know exactly what Cruz was saying. It was Trump several years back, who lumped all NY'ers together and who defended his liberal positions by saying that he was from NY.
To Trump, abortion...etc, is NY values and that all NY'ers have them. You should be offended by that and not by what Cruz said.
Cruz's comment was a play on what Trump said.
