You mean this pap?
The world needs perverts like it needs a cancer epidemic.
No.
I'm referring to the fact that the author apparently has taken on some sort of a ministry to this group and that he has found dealing compassionately with them while maintaining steadfast adherence to the truth is the most effective means of intervening in their destructive lifestyles.
He also points out that he receives a great deal of vindictiveness from them as a result. The article attempts to explain why he thinks they are so angry and he makes the point that confrontation about their anger (without keeping an ear open to the pain that has caused it) seems to be ineffective.
He's hoping to be able to get them to reconsider their abnormal lifestyle by addressing the abuse at least some of them have experienced when younger.
Your post about wishing more of them would die is diametrically opposed to the author's point which is why I pointed out the possibility of reconsidering it.
“The world needs perverts like it needs a cancer epidemic.”
I may have to change my tagline.
Indeed they gave us a very cancer-like epidemic.
While many of us live lives that should ensure our safety from infection, they are bitterly insistent that we should all share the risk, through unscreened blood supplies, etc.
