Trump seems to be fading, which is too bad. But since Ted was my second choice, I see a win either way.

Cruz has always been my first choice but I’ll be voting for whoever is the nominee.

Unless the goal is winning in November, and then there’s only 1 choice.

If Trump loses New York or comes in under Cruz’s performance in Texas then he may be fading. If Cruz fails to gain 25 percent of the vote he should be history.

After New York I do not believe their is a state Cruz can win before Indiana in early May. That will mean Cruz lost seven primaries after Wisconsin. any momentum will be gone.

Mr. Trump has done nothing of the sort and until he throws in the towel unceremoniously with a sarcastic late night tweet, he will have to be opposed fiercely up and down the Empire and Keystone States.

Still, my absolute favorite quote in this thought piece: "His act — ignorance slathered with a congealed gravy of arrogance — has become stale."

Just damn. It flows beautifully.
