Actually, he’s perfectly positioned to be Trump’s VP. Trump will probably be short delegates. Kasich will have enough to put him over. That Kasich is popular in swing state Ohio makes this even more likely. Kasich will hold his nose and go with Trump, imo, if offered the deal.

Obnoxious. That is the one word to describe his campaign at this point.

He basically is making no bones about the fact that his path to the nomination involves nullifying the will of the 80+% of the primary voters who did not vote establishment. He is reveling in it and being smug.

Neither will I. CommieCare, gun grabber, wealth redistributor-Hillary wouldn't be worse, she's in it for herself. The ideologues (which from what I can tell, are all on the left anymore) are the ones who do the most damage. Kasich is an ideologue, a self-righteous do-gooder who knows what's best for the peons, and his ideologies come from the left.

I’m noticing quite a few comments on FR lately which are taking advantage of the anger from conservatives at the GOP, to try to turn it into anger at conservatism itself. I hope the vast majority of us won’t fall for that.

Yes, some of these people must think that we can't distinguish the fact that we're angry at the GOP, because they betrayed conservatism, not because we conservatives all of a sudden just decided to turn 180 degrees from our principles and support the left. We're angry at the GOP for doing just that.
