Porn star Amber Rayne has been found dead at her home at the age of 31, it has been reported.
The adult film star, who has been in the industry for 10 years, is believed to have died in her sleep while at her Los Angeles home, reports AVN.
While her exact cause of death remains unknown at this time, Rayne is believed to have died on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
Speaking to AVN, director Stormy Daniels, said: “She was a really good friend, and one of the best actresses and performers that I've ever had the pleasure to work with, and I'm just glad that I had the opportunity to work with her and call her a friend.”

That James Dean was still looking for his blue jean baby queen way back in 1973. Well, David Essex was looking, anyway.

I watched a documentary on Netflix that showed three normal, attractive 18 year old girls entering that business.
It seemed all of them were motivated by a desire for fame mostly. They wanted the name recognition and be a big part of the glamorous nightlife in places like Miami. They figured that having sex in front of a camera would be worth it to live that kind of life.
They bought into the nonsense that it’s a starting point for a career in Hollywood. They figure that they can do porn, make a ton of cash, get their name out there, then “go legit” since porn is “mainstream” now.
The truth is that people don’t want to pay to see them after a month or two since there are a bunch of new names out there being promoted. They might get one or two paychecks, tops, that are worth anything resembling decent. They then have to start doing some really sick hardcore stuff to make ends meet.
After six months or so, they stop making money all together and the scumbags that lured them into the industry basically tell them to get lost.
In the end, they get to carry the moniker “porn star” with them for the rest of their lives as the internet doesn’t forget. Also, they’re lucky if they don’t pick up a disease or drug addiction while they’re at it.
Basically, young women enter this industry to try and live out a life they see on television. It’s sad that they lose so much letting their selves be used by industry managers that make a rather comfortable living ruining their lives.

I’ve concluded that the unifying factor that is common to all of them, be it Candy the stripper or actor Danny Pintauro, is sexual abuse as children.
I think it is common; Maybe I’m uptight but it is why I do not trust men alone around my child as policy.
You know, 20 years ago, I would have agreed with you, but over the last few years, with the degradation of the family unit, my bet is that many of these younger women probably came from a single-parent home with no father in sight. I'll bet they also had many a Mom's boyfriend who wanted to be close to Mom to get closer to them, as well, or a mom who was too much of a friend, and not enough of a mother to set limits.
I suspect the motivating factor is money
