Many of the independents voting in the GOP primary are closet Dems who just want to mess with the GOP race and they know that Trump is the best way to do that since he is the least likely to beat Hillary.

nastycruzer math is SO interesting. Ted Cruz is getting stomped into pudding in states like Florida and Ohio, and can't muster a 50% vote in his OWN state, but since he won Utah, he's going to beat a Hillary after losing to Trump the whole time.

It is to laugh.

>>Yeah and that and 5 cents won’t get you anywhere.

That’s ok, our family isn’t planning on moving anyhow.

We like our conservative neighbors who voted 22 to 6 against the Trumpskyists.

RE: He did this because he had no “lane” left to him for the nomination

How about these “lanes” to the nomination that Donald Trump has crossed ( Yeah, but this time he means it, I know, I know, just believe him ):

* He used to be pro-choice; now that he’s running in a Republican primary, he’s pro-life.

* He used to support assault weapons bans; now he’s against them.

* He told Howard Stern in 2002 that he supported the invasion of Iraq; now he calls it a mistake. Not only that, he accuses Bush of knowing that there were no WMD’s but going to war anyway.

* To strike out a strong stance against ISIS and prove that he’s the “most militaristic person,” as he often likes to say, Trump said he would reinstate waterboarding, institute further torture practices and kill the family members of terrorists. Even as recently as March 2016, Trump was still defending torture, which is considered a war crime along with the killing of civilians. But the following day, when reminded of the fact that the military is duty-bound not to follow unlawful orders, Trump reversed himself in a statement to the Wall Street Journal.

* In the Republican debate, Trump said he had ‘softened’ his position on H-1B visas for skilled workers.

Trump said his views were shifting. “I’m changing, I’m changing,” he said bluntly about his stance on the skilled worker visas. “I’m softening the position because we have to have talented people in this country.”

But after the debate on the same night, his campaign released an email statement in which he seemed to reverse himself again, back to an anti-H-1B stance.

Which Trump will appear next time?

* In September of 2015, Trump said the United States should accept refugees from Syria.

But Trump quickly changed his tune, swinging to the other side of the issue and becoming one of the most vocal candidates against accepting the refugees. Less than a month later, Trump was back on Fox News saying he would kick out any Syrian refugees admitted to the country and accepting the refugees could prove to be “the ultimate Trojan horse.”

* On Healthcare, he said in an interview he liked the Obamacare mandate. He then says later that he’s against it and will repeal Obamacare.

I can go on and on ....

You say Cruz embodies everything that’s wrong with government ... Trump isn’t even in government yet, and we’re already seeing a lot of things that are wrong...

He makes things up and shockingly some people believe him.

The lie that he is eligible to be President is the most pervasive. Ted Cruz was born in Canada to a foreign born parent which makes him ineligible to be President of the United States!

It has been said time and again that no court, not even the SCOTUS, has authority to judge the eligibility of a Presidential candidate. That is why no court proceeding has been effective to block Cruz from being on the ballot. Only Congress can judge the eligibility of the President.

AMENDMENT XX

Passed by Congress March 2, 1932. Ratified January 23, 1933.

Note: Article I, section 4, of the Constitution was modified by section 2 of this amendment. In addition, a portion of the 12th amendment was superseded by section 3.

Section 3.
If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

Ted Cruz is not eligible to be President If Cruz ever became the nominee, the Liberals would make sure that our whole country would know. This paper goes into great depth and detail with all the footnotes in the world regarding the ineligibility of Ted Cruz. You cannot wish this problem away. I am not the only voter that is aware of the fraudulent Ted Cruz. Cruz is aware of it himself, yet he is attempting to bluster his way through the theft of the Presidency. What Cruz fans should think hard about is the "Yuge" number of voters that also understand that Cruz is a lying fraud, especially when it comes to his ineligibility. He was hamstrung by the circumstances of his foreign birth.

You have to download it from SSRN Social Science Research Network.
You should know how to read dry research documents though. The Natural Born Citizen Clause as Originally Understood - Mary Brigid McManamon -Widener University Delaware Law School

A horrific statutory precedent would be created by the election of Ted Cruz. Suppose Cruz is nominated and elected. A few years from now a Muslim man in Saudi Arabia heavily in the oil industry takes an American wife. They travel back to the middle east and a child is born. By your flawed view he is considered a Natural Born American. The child, raised by his father as violently anti-American but comes back here, runs a flawless campaign with lies and deceit and is elected. This candidate could not be stopped because of the precedent set by Cruz. According to their arcane rules, if a Islamic is leader of a country it must become an Islamic nation. The destruction of The USA is at hand, and it is your hand.

Seriously, I do not think it would get that far. The Democrat party would sue in Congress to nullify a Cruz election and it would be upheld. The GOPe would have no problem voting to stop Cruz in this way. At the last moment his NWO/CFR appeasement Vice Presidential nominee would become President. What evil webs we weave?

Yet, even before that, a Cruz nominee would face so many vehement attacks from Liberal Democrats through the campaign after the convention that the general election would be a fruitless joke.
