If Trump had not entered the race, Cruz would likely be running away with the GOP nomination due to rank and file GOP voters wanting an outsider instead of a GOPe retread.

Disagree. Without Trump in the race, the GOPe would have long ago destroyed Cruz.

Cruz has become more viable because he has changed his positions on immigration and trade to be more closely aligned to those of Trump. The immigration issue would never have been raised the way it has now.

Without Trump, Jeb or Rubio would be the nominee and leaders in delegates.

Cruz has been a Great Conservative voice when there was few.

Cruz grandstands too much. It's all about *his* conservatism and not the conservatism in general. He's not a great Senator. He'll have a helluva time listing his accomplishments. It might be shorter than Hillary's. Meanwhile, the Trump effect has already changed the narrative and has done more for the U.S running for office than some have done after completing 8 years in office.

LOL

Screwed up big time when they didn’t get that bothersome Second Amendment cancelled, didn’t they?

Speaking of which, Grandma and Youngest Daughter are getting their CCW’s this week as our family’s latest contribution. Montana is Open Carry (except in some towns, etc), so we’ve usually got Something along and most people we see away from the Big Town are packin’ as well.

Particularly after we had that couple murdered and their daughter wounded down in Pryor this Winter.

...just sayin’....

Agree without Trump we would be looking at Rubio and either Jeb or Walker as number two.

Cruz is not an outsider. Cruz would have been destroyed if he didn't have the opportunity to 'draft' behind Trump. He would have never been heard and JEB! Rubio, Walker would have stolen his lunch money.

Out of the 168 Republican National Committee members only one supports Donald Trump.

Only one PUBLICLY supports Trump. By and large, I think they keep quiet.

At least, I hope so.

Wow-just watched it on youtube. Here is the site in case anyone missed it.
Wallace is really hostile. Trump looks very tired.

By the way what were her five most brilliant accomplishments? Any takers?

I can only think of two, but I'll try...

1. She married Bill Clinton, the world's biggest scoundrel and grifter who fooled and conned not only the American people but the world for 8 long years, and...
2. She parlayed a worthless tax-free "charity" scheme (the Clinton Family Crime Foundation) from a gleam in she and Bubba's eyes into a multi-billion dollar international world-class criminal enterprise without spending a dime of any of their own money.

How'd I do, Coach? They were both brilliant. Did I miss anything big?

I agree that Wisconsin is a lot closer than he pundits and media claim.

If you factor in democrat/independent crossover voters in the open primary in Wisconsin, Cruz has at best a one or two point lead over Trump as of this weekend and can be caught by Tuesday. Trade and immigration are two major concerns among blue collar union types and many of these blue collar democrat and union types have been favorable to Trump’s trade and immigration positions.

If the crossover vote is heavy, it will likely be enough to overcome Cruz’s lead with Republican voters and allow Trump to narrowly prevail.

When I lived in Wisco, it was an open primary. Assuming it still is?

WOW Beautiful summery. I just couldn’t make myself watch and listen to Wallace. I’m so happy Trump was strong and thoughtful as usual. He’s playing the media game and doing what seems to be necessary. He is easy on Walker at his rallies.

And since both the time to clean up the act and the nature/intensity of that public reaction could be aggravated by the economy going in the dumper as looks more and more probable, those elites may be looking at nothing but very, very, VERY bad options if they can't get control ASAP and by any means they can find. This just ain't going to end well for somebody and this week may tell the tale for the name of that poor soul.

Insightful...
