Dumbest thing pro-lifers ever did was use the word abortion instead of what it is. Same with using Islam and religion together. It is an oppression system, like communism and fascism.
Easier. Just understand that the Quran is in two parts: the peaceful chapters come from when Mo was in Mecca. The "sword" verses come from after his wealthy Meccan wife died, and he was driven out to Medina, where he turned to banditry and pillage with his gang of followers.
Later verses supersede the former verses. The Quran is not in chronological order. Here's the actual chronological order.
The 9th Surah is the "kill and enslave the infidels" chapter. It is also the next-to-last chapter, and supersedes all the earlier verses.

[This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists.It abrogates all the "peace" verses which had come before.
